Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Stephanie Valentino

Dr. Valentino developed her passion for animals as a child by “adopting” any and every stray that crossed her path (often to the surprise of her parents). She decided to become a veterinarian after spending time in shelters and learning how medicine improved the lives of all pets. Her special interests include chronic pain control and management, integrative therapies, and feline internal medicine. She is also trained in Veterinary Acupuncture through the Chi Institute.

Dr. Valentino attended The College of New Jersey and Rutgers University for undergraduate studies and received her DVM degree from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to and during veterinary school, Dr. Valentino worked as a veterinary assistant in both small animal rehabilitation and general practice clinics in Philadelphia and North Carolina. After graduation, she spent time practicing in feline exclusive medicine. She is looking forward to working with our canine friends again.

When Dr. Valentino isn’t treating her patients, she can be found playing instruments, crocheting, painting, and cooking pasta. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband Matt, dog Sunnie and her cats Arthur, Oliver, and recent rescue Eileen ‘Fancy Pants’.
